Meet Fabric Artist Deb Strain

Deb Strain is a prolific, long-standing fabric designer for Moda Fabrics, known for her hand-painted, art-focused designs featuring Americana, holidays (Christmas, Halloween), farmhouse themes, and whimsical scenes, with over 100 collections created since 1996, alongside other products like greeting cards and garden flags. She started as an art teacher and illustrator, eventually partnering with Moda to bring her unique, heartwarming artwork to quilting fabrics and other home goods.

Learn from Barb: Gather & Stitch: The Family Tree Table Runner Workshop

Create the Our House table runner in this 4-hour workshop with Barb Cherniwchan. The kit features Deb Strain’s Family Tree fabric in beautiful blues, mossy greens, and warm rusts, creating a warm neighbourhood scene filled with homes, trees, and heart blocks.

How do I register?

Registration begins at our Class Presentation Jan 12. You can register in-store and by phone starting at 3pm that day. Online registration goes Live at 7pm.

When should I register?

To avoid disappointment, register as soon as you check your schedule and confirm you can attend.

What do I need for the first class?

During your first class, your instructor will assist you in purchasing supplies, offering a 20% discount on all items for your course. They will provide details about the project and inform you of any preparations needed for the upcoming class.

What if I register but I can’t come?

There are no refunds for registration but you are welcome to have a friend attend in your place.
