FAQ's

Why do I need a consultation?

Custom quilting involves many decisions; backing, batting, thread and design. With over 25 years of quilting experience and more than 5000 quilts under our belt, we are well suited to help you make those decisions.

How do I prepare for my consultation?

  • Bring your quilt top squared up, pressed and with all threads clips.
  • If you have your backing and batting, they should be 8-10" larger than your quilt top.
  • If you are piecing the backing, trim the selvage edges before joining your seams and press them to one side or open.

What should I bring?

We are happy to help you choose backing, batting and thread. If you have them already, please bring them.

What does quilting cost?

Our quilting costs start at $65 for a quick design on a small quilt or runner and for an average lap-sized quilt (50"X60") with a simple all-over design prices start at $120. However, the cost varies depending on the size and design of your quilt. Please note that batting and thread are not included in this estimate.
