Starting from the very beginning, this class will take you through machine parts, care, control and function as you create small projects in fabric. Increase your skill and confidence by completing 2 garments that involve techniques ommon to all types of garment construction. Finish off the class series by completing as many of the suggested skill building projects as you have time for - the instructor will be there to guide you!
Participants will need a sewing machine in good running order. Since it is the intent of the course to encourage participants to learn about their machine , it is preferred that the machine be able to do a zig zag, and have the following presser feet: regular stitching, zipper, and buttonhole. If the instruction book for the machine is available, that is also an asset.

There are no refunds for registration but you are welcome to have a friend attend in your place.
