Who needs a fancy ruler? Barb ditched it, made magic with a regular one, and will show you how to do the same!” Special rulers aren’t always required—they just might make the job a little easier.
This pattern usually calls for a special ruler—but Barb just made it happen without one! She’ll show you how to create it using a standard 24” ruler (6” or 8 ½” wide).
Start with a jelly roll or your 2 ½” x WOF scraps, add a background, and watch the magic unfold. Coordinated scraps and a simple background fabric come together to make a diamond quilt with lots of movement. Strip sets make the project simpler—they’re pieced first, then cut apart and re-sewn into blocks that come together quickly.
