Festival of Trees

The University Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees, one of Edmonton’s most cherished holiday traditions, is returning to a live, in-person event running December 2-5, 2021, at the Edmonton Convention Centre.

The theme of this year’s Festival of Trees is “Share the Joy” and it’s sure to dazzle as the University Hospital Foundation welcomes the entire community to come back together to celebrate the holidays with the traditions and cultures that make our community strong and vibrant. It’s about brining the people and cultures of Edmonton and surrounding areas together to make new friends, laugh and play, and advance care for those who need our help to live healthier lives.

For 36 years, the University Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees has been a source of civic pride, family fun and invaluable support for patient care and research at the University of Alberta Hospital site. With over 35,000 visitors, it’s also one of Edmonton’s largest indoor events of the holiday season.

Festival of Trees has raised over $22 million for critically important causes at the University of Alberta Hospital site. From brining incision-free brain surgery technology to Edmonton to expanding intensive care for cardiac patients, funds raised have impacted patients from head-to-toe, inside and out.

Be sure to visit and watch for Lori's Country Cottage quilt.
