Discard the scraps, and smooth the batting back together before applying batting tape.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFor best results, try to keep the newly cut edges no less the 1\/2in from the edges of the tape.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePlace the rough side – or glue side – against the batting. Cover with a light pressing cloth, or Teflon sheet. Press and hold the iron in place for 8-10 seconds.
